One of the delights of the perfect English Country pub is that it is at the heart of its community a place where people can come together. That’s why we believe it’s so important for us to give something back to our local community. Below are just a couple of things we do to help out in some small way.
Our Community
Community is incredibly important to us and as part of this, we help to fundraise for a local charity. For more information on which charity we are supporting this year, speak to a local team member at the pub.
Hospice Care and Brain Tumour Support
Throughout the year we also raise money for:
Hospice Care who provide expert support, resources and personalised specialist care for people in Exeter, Mid & East Devon who have been diagnosed with a terminal illness.
Brain Tumour Support who are the only brain tumour charity dedicated to support across the South West, they provide specialist, tailored services for anyone affected by any type of brain tumour.
RNLI Water
We’re proud to support the lifesaving the RNLI does day in and day out. As part of our fundraising activity for the RNLI we currently serve the RNLI Coastal Spring still and sparkling waters and 1p will be paid in support of the RNLI for each bottle sold.
